Gas prices are too damn high!

Sign the petition on gas prices and tell President Obama to allow more oil production here in the U.S.

With the current price of gasoline exceeding 4 dollars per gallon in many parts of the country, it would be great if rainbows or seaweed could power our cars, trucks, SUVs, and motorcycles. But they don’t.

And, as it stands right now, roughly 85% of federal land is off limits to drilling and the issuing of new drilling leases on federal land available for exploration are down 44% from 2007-2008 to 2009-2010. Additionally, only 2% of our offshore is available for energy exploration with 98% now restricted from drilling.

Join thousands of Americans and sign our online petition to tell President Obama and his administration to ease their restrictions and open up more areas for drilling in order to bring gas prices down long-term and to ease the pain at the pump for every American!
